Julia is a UAL graduate and Goldsmiths University dropout turned cultural producer. Originating from Warsaw, Poland, she is London based.

Julia’s creative practice is rooted in mixed media - mixing the physical world with the digital. She often experiments with new mediums and techniques within her work, including writing, sculpture and drawing.

Julia’s creative practice is largely autobiographical, with recurring themes of politics, identity and storytelling. Rooted in mixed media, her work moves between the physical and digital, creating space for reflection. Lately she has been especially fascinated by movement and food as forms of expression.

Her professional practice is driven by a clear sense of social purpose. Her experience spans arts, learning and public programmes, and over the years she has become very good at making things happen. Increasingly, she is realising she is at her best when working closely with the people and communities her work aims to reach.
